Profile
I am an engineer, an entrepreneur, a scholar and a problem solver.
I have a strong track record for designing, building, analyzing and improving complex systems, all of which has honed my problem solving, logic, and strategizing skills. I have gained valuable insights into various stages and aspects of business through a history of diverse career challenges.
Having built new robotics labs at both UC Berkeley and at new South-Korean University, I worked from the initial stages of starting from a great idea to researching and securing funding, and finally to producing an end product. Further, during my participation in a black-ops startup-like team within Yahoo! I learned to maximize my revenue impact by clever prioritization between creating new products, saving man-hours and safeguarding against potential losses.
Additionally, through my varied work experience, I have gained deep insight into Silicon Valley, blue chip culture, international top-notch research, commercial business, as well as, non-profit work.
My passion for teaching coupled with an avid interest in understanding, streamlining, and optimizing business processes has enabled me to take on key leadership roles throughout my career tenure. Within these roles, I excelled at pointing out inefficient processes/ sub-optimal infrastructure, being decisive, generating creative input and implementing better systems for achieving our goals.
Ultimately, my aspiration is to attain a technical leadership role within a small/ early stage startup.
